So, post-hurricane Michael, we can say that two things have happened.
- The lake has risen in water level due to clogged drain and has stabilized at about 8 inches above the drain
- The algae has been blown to the north and east by the strong winds and has largely “submerged” due to the water infusion (cooling and depth).
We know many are cleaning up after the storm. Thankfully, the worst of the storm past 30-90 miles to our west. None the less, many here have incurred some impacts such as trees down, littered branches, power outage, etc.
We wish all speedy and full recovery.
