KLHOA and GEHOA are planning to have Charlie Messing conduct a final 2018 treatment for the filamentous algae in Lake Blue Heron at the end of September or early October. Timing for this is dependent on rain predictions and water temperatures. We want to ensure that rain will not wash out the treatments and that water temperatures are low enough to catch the algae in a relatively dormant state.
