The final treatment for Lake Blue Heron is scheduled to take place this Saturday (10/22/2022). The focus of this treatment will be to work to reduce the remaining decayed algae on the surface of the lake. Charlie Messing sought and received permission from the KLHOA to use a Bass Boat for this treatment cycle. The use of a Bass Boat will enable Charlie to utilize the speed of the boat and the power of the motor to break up the remaining matted islands of algae. He will also be conducting a survey to determine his base treatment plan for 2023.
