Bob Meinhardt, Jerry Terraferma, and Fred Schmidt met with the KLHOA budget committee on October 6, 2018. The purpose of the meeting was to review the KLHOA budget as prepared by Tim, the KLHOA treasurer. Tim has worked hard to ensure that the KLHOA Board can achieve it’s foreseeable fiscal responsibilities for 2019, including the planning for funding the effort to reduce the algae blooms in Lake Blue Heron during the 2019 growing season. The plans when approved and combined with the GEHOA commitment to match, will provide the funding that Charlie Messing believes will be needed to better treat and manage the lake’s algae during the 2019 year. We appreciate the time we were allotted to speak about the lake and the efforts we, as a committee, are planning to undertake to support both HOA efforts.
